1. Introduction

Pray Pages ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Pray Pages mobile application and website (praypages.com).

2. Information We Collect

Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used (for example, prayers opened, searches, and listen events). This may include device identifiers and your anonymous session ID. We do not use analytics data for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Anonymous Authentication: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to assign a unique, non-identifying session ID. No personal information (name, email, phone) is collected through this process.

Diagnostics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and technical diagnostic data so we can fix bugs and improve stability. Reports may include device model and OS version.

Feedback Data: When you voluntarily submit feedback, we collect the message content and, optionally, your email address if you choose to provide it.

Device & notifications: If you enable notifications, a push token (a device identifier) may be stored so we can deliver reminders. Device identifiers may also be processed by our analytics and crash-reporting providers as described above.

Local Preferences: Your language, religion filter, favorites, and recent views are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

Location: If you enable Islamic prayer time reminders and allow location access, we use precise location to calculate prayer times. Location may be sent to the Aladhan prayer-times service for that calculation only. Location access is optional.

Purchases: Optional Listen and reminders unlocks are processed by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide and maintain the application
• To respond to your feedback or support requests
• To improve product quality through analytics and crash diagnostics
• To calculate optional Islamic prayer times when you enable that feature
• To sync published prayer content and optional push notifications you enable
• To deliver ambient audio and other app content from our servers

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers to operate Pray Pages, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, analytics, and crash reporting) and, when you enable Islamic prayer times, the Aladhan API for calculation. These providers process data only to provide their services to us. Anonymous session IDs are used for spam prevention and feedback attribution.

5. Data Storage & Security

Feedback data is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud) with encryption in transit and at rest. Analytics and crash data are processed by Google Firebase. Ambient audio and similar files may be downloaded from Firebase Storage and cached on your device. Local preferences use on-device storage (AsyncStorage).

6. Children's Privacy

Pray Pages does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app content is suitable for all ages.

7. Your Rights

You may request deletion of any feedback you have submitted by contacting us at praypages@gmail.com. Local data can be deleted by uninstalling the app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date.
